Training Day for Primary School Choir Directors

In a few weeks’ time we will be launching our complete festival programme, but in the meantime we are delighted to bring you news of a brand new event this year.

On Monday 22 August we will be running a Training Day for primary school teachers and choir directors.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from Dr Aisling Kenny and Judith Gannon, two of Ireland’s leading choir trainers.  

Aisling and Judith will provide great insights and practical tips for those who work with children’s choirs in a primary school environment.

Aspects which will be covered include:

 ·         Warm-ups

·         Vocal exercises and healthy vocal technique for teachers and young singers

·         Repertoire for children

·         Leading and conducting group singing
