Gala Concert: Landmarks and Laureates

Join us on Friday 26th August at 8pm in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral for our Gala Concert. Featuring many of the musicians associated with this year’s Festival, it promises to be a fabulous evening of music making.

We’re marking two of classical music’s big birthdays in 2022 – Ralph Vaughan Williams (150th) and César Franck (200th) – and a range of other contemporary and classical gems.

Includes Vaughan Williams, 5 Mystical Songs and Serenade to Music; Franck, Cantabile for Organ; Rutter, Hymn for Ukraine; as well as a colourful mix of song.

Featuring:

The Charles Wood Singers; David Hill (conductor); Philip Scriven (organist)

Natasha Agarwal (soprano) – Senior Winner, Charles Wood Song Competition 2022 – with Ruth McGinley (piano)

Ivan-Bogdan Reincke – Winner, Northern Ireland International Organ Competition 2019.

Join us in St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral on Friday 26 August at 8pm. Tickets are now available here.
