Junior Finalist: Alexandra Cooper

Our third finalist in this year's Junior Class is the British soprano Alexandra Cooper.

Alexandra is the Douglas and Hilda Simmonds scholar at the Royal College of Music, London, studying under Patricia Rozario. Alexandra began her studies with Anne Dawson at the Junior Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she was awarded first prize in the Peter Vernon Vocal Competition, adjudicated by Julian Pike.

Recent performances include Ensemble in Jonathan Dove’s Flight directed by Jeremy Sams with the RCM Opera Studio. Broadcast credits include Classic FM’s Christmas Carol Concert 2022 in aid of the charity Supporting Wounded Veterans.
